I enjoy clients with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and problems. My personal style is warm and supportive, and my approach with clients is holistic in focus. My goal is for each client to achieve more personal awareness, emotional stability, and effective behavior as a result of our work together. Presenting issues might be: Depression; Bipolar disorder; Anxiety Disorders; Trauma/PTSD; Couple conflicts; Stress related medical problems; or Life transitions. I provide individual and couple therapy for teens and adults.
I am a Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP). I have provided mental health services for almost 20 years in a variety of settings and I have been in private practice since 2004.
My approach is warm and supportive. During sessions, I use a variety of approaches, including Relaxation, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution focused therapy, mind-body techniques, and education. I have some long-term clients, but tend to use a more brief approach to therapy, around 10-12 sessions.
